About Kyle
Aloha, I'm Kyle, and originally from Seattle, Washington. Before founding my law firm, I spent three years at a premier criminal defense firm in Honolulu, which also handled a range of civil and administrative litigation.
Prior to that, I had the honor of serving nearly a decade as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney (DPA) for the City and County of Honolulu. During my tenure, I advanced from one among more than 100 attorneys to become the head of the department’s elite Career Criminal Unit (CCU) — responsible for prosecuting some of Oahu’s most violent and repeat offenders. Before leading CCU, I supervised the Felony Trials Division, training and mentoring new DPAs while managing complex caseloads. Over my career, I have personally litigated dozens of bench and jury trials, developing a courtroom comfort honed through years of high-stakes advocacy.
Earlier in my career, I worked for a City and County of Honolulu council member, gaining a deep understanding of municipal government and local politics.
While in law school, I clerked for a boutique firm specializing in corporate governance and compliance with SEC and state regulations, and also completed externships with the Honorable Barbara Mack (Ret.) of the King County Superior Court and the Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
Whether in a hotly contested trial, a high-stakes motion argument, or in nuanced negotiations, my clients can count on my experience, community relationships, and unwavering commitment to professionalism and ethics.
While I practice throughout the state of Hawaii, I reside on Oahu with my wife and three children.
