About Kyle

Aloha, I'm Kyle, and originally from Seattle, Washington.

Before founding my law firm, I spent three years at a premier criminal defense firm in Honolulu, that also handled various civil and administrative litigation.

Prior to that, I had the honor of serving as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney ("DPA") for the City and County of Honolulu for nearly a decade. During my time as a prosecutor, I rose through the ranks of over 100 attorneys to ultimately head up the department's elite trial team known as the "Career Criminal Unit" ("CCU"), tasked with taking on some of Oahu's most violent offenders. Before overseeing CCU, I was also a supervisor in the Felony Trials Division, managing and assisting in the training of newly minted DPAs. I have personally litigated dozens of bench and jury trials.

My comfort in the courtroom is unrivaled.

Before my service as a prosecutor, my legal career began working for a council member for the City and County of Honolulu, during which time I gained a deep understanding of municipal government and local politics.

While in law school, I clerked for a boutique law firm that specialized in corporate governance and compliance with rules and regulations of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and various states. In addition, I completed externships with the Honorable Barbara Mack (Ret.) of the King County Superior Court and the Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney.

Whether it be in the midst of a hotly contested trial, a "make it or break it" argument during a dispositive motion, or in delicate negotiations needed to resolve a case favorably, hiring me as your lawyer will ensure you have my years of experience, relationships within the community, and unwavering commitment to professionalism and ethics at your side.

While I practice all over the state of Hawaii, I reside on the island of Oahu with my wife and three children.
